| From Johannesburg take the N3 over Van Reenens Pass until you reach the off-ramp for Colenso/Frere/Winterton. Turn immediately right, cross the bridge over the N3 towards Winterton. Travel about 24km. Turn left onto the R600 and pass over the crossroad. Pass Champagne Sports Resort, turn left onto D19, follow Champagne Valley and Monks Cowl Country Club signposts. From the King Shaka International Airport join the N2. Proceed towards Durban and follow the N3 past Pietermaritzburg and Mooi River. Follow the N3 and take the Loskop/Estcourt North off-ramp. Follow the Loskop road for about 35km, at the four-way stop turn left onto the R600 (Central Drakensberg turnoff). Travel for about 12km until you reach the Drakensberg Sun turnoff on the right.
